Another Rendezvous has come and passed and it leaves me with a feeling of warmth because of the success of the event and regret that we have to wait another two years before we get to do it all over again. I wanted to thank everyone who turned out for this event and especially say a huge thank you to Rick Johnson and Brett Pfingston for their hard work and dedication in the registration booth. I know they worked non-stop and that made my job easy when reviewing the totals for the event. South Carolina, North Carolina and Puerto Rico should be very pleased with the way things turned out. Their hard work and dedication was evident by the way things did turn out. Did anyone catch a glimpse of Michael Keese, the South Carolina Director? If you did not it was because you were not looking. This man was as busy as any District Director that I have ever seen. He was non-stop working and was always looking for something else to do if he was still. You men In SC have a jewel in this man.
I also want to say what an outstanding job our first year Rep Dennis Molnar did in making things run smoothly. I know we had some glitches, but they were few and far between and when there were problems that arose, Dennis was right there taking care of it. Dennis was also responsible in getting our speaker for the event. Jim Kennedy did an outstanding job on the services and I know many lives were recharged and are ready to keep that FLAME BURNING FOR CHRIST.
All in all, I would that this was the absolute best Territorial Rendezvous that I have ever been associated with and I can’t wait for the next one. Oh yea, and I got to keep my hair. We had a grand total of 297, just (3) shy of cutting my old, tired, reddish brown hair. I’m so glad that that part is over. It was nerve racking for me Ha Ha.
Until we meet again may God richly bless you in all that you lay your hand to.

2011 TERRITORIAL RENDEZVOUS WRAP-UP
Wow! There is so much that can be said about the 2011 rendezvous. Although I have attended many of our past rendezvous’ this was my first as the territorial rep. First and foremost I must tip my hat to the territorial FCF team. The work that Les, Brett and Ricky did even before the event started amazes me. And I understand that their wives helped as well. Their work at the registration table was awesome. From what I saw it went off with little or no problems. Everyone went the extra mile to make this a fantastic event. With much success I might add.
Our theme was “share the flame” and Jim Kennedy our keynote speaker did a superb job getting that across. Kyle Hulsey added to that on Friday morning. The Holy Spirit ministered to us as we were challenged to “share the flame”, but also realizing that we must have something inside before we can share!
We had a record attendance of 297 with 1/3 being young bucks. Beside the usual events there were a few new activities thrown into the mix. The night shoot, bead guessing and photo shoot will be seen again.
I would be remiss if something was not said about our host chapters. The site was very user friendly that added to the event and what can be said about those hot showers. Toby and his crew did a fantastic job with the supply of fire wood and the chapter meal. The Swamp Fox, Old Hickory and Aqueybana Chapters came to make for a very successful rendezvous.
I have learned a great deal from this being my first as the Rep and plan to make the 2013 rendezvous even better if that’s possible. With the team that stands beside me that should not be hard to do. I would like to thank my staff, the host chapters and the chapter presidents for all that they did. The next two years will pass by before you know it so make plans now to attend Rendezvous 2013 with the Creek and Applachee chapters being our hosts. Keep your powder dry and your eye on the target.
