I was born in Hobbs, New Mexico on Sept 30, 1955. In 1973 I started dating my wife Debbie (6/15/56) and after 2 years we got married 7/26/75 (one of the best decisions that I ever made).? Debbie knew from the start that she was marrying a Royal Ranger and through the years has always been there to support, encourage and pray for me and the ministry God called me into. Debbie and I have two daughters who were raised up with numerous Royal Ranger brothers. ?We have always enjoyed the Frontier camping as a family and often times participate in secular rendezvous where we help with chapel services.? Both of my girls and my wife have won numerous prizes at these rendezvous, in knife, hawk, archery, and black powder, and that I tell everyone is the reason I am so well behaved. Our oldest daughter Shannon 10/12/82 (27) has now been married for five years. Her husband is currently serving in Kuwait.? My youngest daughter Alisha 3/17/89 (21) is now attending Hillsborough? Community College and pursuing a degree in music.
In 1997 I started attending Urban Bible Training Center, and graduated with Honors from Global University in 2000.
?
I started in Royal Rangers at Turkey Creek Assembly of God in 1969 as a Trailblazer.? My first Pow Wow was in 1970, where I was first exposed to FCF.? In 1971 I was inducted into the FCF. In April 1974 I was presented my Gold Medal of Achievement (#139) by David Lee, now of IMM fame.? I attended? LTC in 1974.? I have served the district in many positions and have been involved in the creating of Pen Fla. Special Forces Group, Pen Fla. Gold Medalist Association, Frontiersman Companion Fellowship and The Royal Order of Chivalry.? I thank God everyday for the opportunity to serve him through this ministry and for the great leadership that I have had the opportunity to serve with. Since becoming a commander in 1979 at Pleasant Grove Assembly Of God, we have had 33 boys and men join FCF, we have had 25 Gold Medalist.? We have had numerous boys go on to become pastors (1 in South Carolina, 1 in Florida), Gospel Musicians, Missionaries ETC.
?
Debbie and I are now members at New Testament Church of Brandon, where I serve as the Adventure Ranger Coordinator and Debbie serves as the Ranger Kids Coordinator.
